What We Do

Basic education enhancement

VVIVA believes that women/teenage mothers are healthier and more productive when they are not worried about where their children will go to school, the school fees, and meals while at school.

Early childhood care and development

VVIVA established St. Mary’s Nursery school for the OVC aged 3 to 5 years under the care of single mothers, neglected teenage mothers, differently abled mothers, elderly caregivers, child-headed households, etc.

Economic Empowerment Program

Women need support to grow and be able to meet their financial obligations for their children to thrive. Under this program, women, the teenage mothers, and girls out of school learn skills such as shoe making, knitting, weaving, climate smart agriculture, and gardening

Food security and nutrition

VVIVA addresses malnutrition and food insecurity by focusing on influencing adoption of new behaviors and technologies that promote household food security.

Community health promotion

In an effort to contribute towards reduction in maternal deaths and increased child survival, VVIVA focuses on promoting timely uptake of health services in communities.

Child protection

VVIVA seeks to ensure that all children are protected from all forms of exploitation, neglect, physical, sexual or emotional abuse through effective national and community-based child protection systems.
